In his spare time, Jake enjoys mixing up something delicious in the kitchen. He's equally at home with a tackle box and a fishing pole on the beautiful shores of Long Island waiting for the big one!

Getting the chance to perform FREE TO BE YOU AND ME at a summer arts camp sparked something for Jake. It wasn't long before he found himself working at the John W. Engeman Theater in a production of OLIVER! directed by Stephen Nachamie. Jake performed as an orphan and a member of Fagin's boys and was Oliver understudy as well. Soon after he joined the World Premiere of A CHRISTMAS STORY THE MUSICAL (Randy Parker) at the Kansas City Rep. When the 1st National Tour of ACS hit the road, he "triple dog dared" his way as Schwartz. Jake has appeared in a number of other professional productions including the Jeffrey Seller directed FLY (as Peter) and the Vineyard Theatre's Developmental production of THE LANDING (by John Kander/Greg Pierce) and The Sound of Music (as Kurt von Trapp). Way back when (in High School) he got the chance to play the title role in Pippin. He has appeared in multiple productions at MSU including a Twelfth Night and An Ideal Husband. Most recently, Jake appeared as Pip in the OBA Award winning Off Broadway production of Pip's Island.

Jake's been tapping since he was a little guy. During the 1st National Tour of A Christmas Story, he really got to show his stuff and Ralphie, Schwartz, Flick and friends took to the stage with a fantastic tap number. He hasn't stopped.
